Harbour Point Residence

The brief was a living room that works for two children, a large dog and long Sunday lunches, without looking like it. We lowered the furniture, warmed the walls with a limestone lime wash and let the arched window become the centrepiece.

Washable linen slipcovers, a stain-resistant wool rug and a travertine table with softened edges mean nothing here is precious, but everything feels considered.
