How to build a learning habit that sticks in 20 minutes a day

Small, daily sessions beat weekend marathons. Here is the simple routine our most successful learners use.

The learners who finish our courses are rarely the ones with the most free time. They are the ones who show up a little, almost every day.

1. Attach learning to something you already do

Watch one lesson with your morning coffee or on the train home. A fixed trigger makes the habit automatic.

2. Make the first step tiny

Commit to a single five-minute lesson. Most days you will keep going; on busy days you still keep your streak.

3. Practise straight away

Do the exercise at the end of the lesson before moving on. Using an idea once is worth more than watching it three times.
