Oakridge robotics team wins the regional championship
Twelve students, one 18-kilogram robot and six weeks of late nights in the Innovation Lab. Here is how Team Tower took first place.

Our Upper School robotics team took first place out of 34 teams at this year’s regional robotics championship, and qualified for the national finals in the spring.

Students designed, built and programmed the robot from scratch, meeting four afternoons a week in the Innovation Lab with advisor Mr. Osei.
They argued, rebuilt the arm three times and never gave up. That is the real win. — Kwame Osei, robotics advisor
